The Gateway Ringers are entering their seventeenth year and "A Time to Rejoice" marks their second CD project, the first being "A Time to Dance" in 2001. Their reputation for audience-friendly programming is represented here, with a wide variety of moods and tone colors. Chant-like melodies appear in "Come, Emmanuel," a Latin influence is heard in "A La Nanita Nana," and flute, harp, and bassoon join the bells for Corelli's "Pastorale" from the Christmas Concerto.
