Look for stealthy creeping in the left hand with an ascending quarter-note bass line. Also featured in the left hand are blocked intervals of fifths and seconds. The right-hand melody uses the same ascending line as in the bass but with an eighth-note rhythm pattern for variety. Low registers of the keyboard are explored as well with both hands. All of these ingredients make a delightful image for both the student and the audience.
