A fairly large scale arrangement of the three entractes from Bizet's Carmen for flute choir. Each movement has a different character - the first is march-like, the second lilting and romantic, and the third is full of spanish fire. The first movement is relatively straightforward featuring bass and alto flute solos. The second requires sustained playing in the third octave from flute one in particular, and the third requires nimble fingerwork from all players and strong tonguing to bring out the spanish feel. At around 6 minutes long, this is a nice suite to include in a concert.

Un arrangement assez grande échelle des trois entractes de Carmen de Bizet pour choeur de flûtes. Chaque mouvement a un caractère différent - le premier est mars-like, le deuxième chantant et romantique, et le troisième est plein de feu espagnol. Le premier mouvement est basse, avec relativement simple et alto solos de flûte. La seconde nécessite jouer soutenue au troisième octave de la flûte à personne en particulier, et la troisième nécessite doigté agile de tous les acteurs et une forte coups de langue pour faire ressortir la sensation espagnol. À environ 6 minutes, ce est une belle suite à inclure dans un concert.
