One of the most famous movements from "The Messiah", features the Bb Trumpet and Tuba, Trombone or Euphonium on the solo parts. The bass part goes up to a high "C" above the staff several times, so the tuba must have a good high register. The trombone and tuba solo parts can be switched and the trombonist from the quintet can play the solo bass part on tenor trombone, bass trombone or Euphoniums. The tuba can then move to the trombone part, which is a low part anyway. This work is in the key of Bb, down a 3rd from the original and very playable. This transcription comes in two keys. the original in D. high. or in Bb. lower. In the lower key it can be played on Bb trumpet and is much easier on the solo bass part if played by the tubist. If played in the original key, an optional organ part can be added to the quintet for a very symphonic effect. This work is a must on a Brass Quintet Christmas or Easter Concert.

Un des plus célèbres mouvements de "Le Messie" les, offre la trompette Bb et tuba, trombone ou euphonium sur les parties solo. La partie basse qui monte à un niveau élevé "C" au-dessus du personnel à plusieurs reprises, de sorte que le tuba doit avoir un bon registre aigu. Les parties de trombone et tuba solo peuvent être activés et le tromboniste du quintette peuvent jouer la partie de basse solo ténor, trombone basse ou Euphoniums. Le tuba peut alors passer à la partie de trombone, qui est une partie faible de toute façon. Ce travail est dans la clé de Sib, en bas d'une 3e à partir de l'original et très jouable. Cette transcription est disponible en deux touches. l'original en D. haut. ou en Sib. inférieur. Dans la clé inférieure il peut être joué sur Bb trompette et est beaucoup plus facile sur la partie de basse solo si joué par le tubiste. Si joué dans la tonalité originale, une partie optionnelle d'organes peut être ajouté à la quintette pour un effet très symphonique.
