The music reflects the joy and exuberance of young love in the first movement, Anticipations and the heartbreaking decisions in Choices, when life goes a different way than expected. Transitions acknowledges the beginning acceptance of life's choices, while Remembrances brings self-forgiveness and the start of looking back without regret.
