Je vous verrai. Harry James. Intermédiaire.

Original

I'll Be Seeing You by Harry James. Arranged by Myles Collins. For big band. Swing. Medium. Published by Lush Life. JL.LL-1313. If you are looking for a first rate ballad Trumpet feature, look no further. This Harry James chart is a cracker. We have adapted the original version to suit a standard 5444 line-up and have re-scored the original, removing the string lines, but retained the flavour by adding tin-muted trumpet lines for extra tonal colur. HJ's part is written "as played", as is the Tenor solo, though your player can improvise a solo using the chords provided. The intro is written in 3. 4 time, instead of the very rubato opening of the original. Although this time signature is not strictly accurate, it makes playing the intro much easier for the Piano and Bass and will avoid performance errors. The opening Trumpet line is cued onto the Piano part too, so that your player can slot in behind it easily. This chart is big, fat and lush, and offers a chance for one of your Trumpet players to really shine as a soloist. There are no sax doubles. Ranges. Trumpets. 1-4. C#6. G6. , A5, F#5, C#5Trombones. 1-4. B4, F#4, D#4, C#4.
