Thus, this album will appeal to any high voice singer wishing to become better acquainted with this vibrant period, and will hopefully serve as an introduction to more in-depth study of the featured composers, whose vast works can only be touched on here. For English speaking singers, separate literal translations of the songs are provided for the purpose of aiding interpretation.
