The lyrics for this song were inspired by the promises found in Matthew 24:27 and Revelation 1:7. The encouraging words of Jesus' soon return paired with the upbeat tune will bring hope and joy to the listeners: "Jesus is coming soon I know. He's coming with the angels, hear the trumpet blow! As lightning flashes from the east to the west, so will be His coming. That day will be the best! . . . "
 
Though arranged as a vocal solo with straight-forward piano accompaniment (guitar chords included), this piece is also an excellent choice for a children's choir with the children singing unison.
