Paroles: Muph & Plutonic. Other. One Side Of The Bed.

(She was my baby) damn right she was
(but she put me down) oh well now I'm movin' up and I'm movin' out

and I still sleep on one side of the bed
and I can't sleep so I'm tired instead
trying to set free what's wired to my head
short circuits circulating with each breath
and, she left with a convincing stride
spread them wings effortless and let it fly
lied like there was never any drama
and I won't watch when the wind gets calmer
I'm gonna find my spot many mornings after
contact lost so I can sort through the data
wonder what you're up to since the departure
hope we both learn to play it smarter
I'ma have a harder shell to crack
so when the walls all crumble I'm numb to the impact
six pack flowing through the bubblin' veins
in the winter they will simmer in a troublesome game
the future without that's not one and the same
you can't see a future with me not one and the same
so move on

(she was my baby) damn right she was
(but she put me down) oh well now I'm movin' up and I'm movin' out

(love aint simple, you gotta be that way)
x2

yesterday I saw her with a different face
the hair the dress the exact same skin-shade
visuals on my mind tricks which imitate
parked on the park bench who was sitting in the shade
started to stimulate the same old process
wanted to want her more just to get over it
leaps seemed to come in rather large pauses
each moment of chaos is one step forward
when to sets of people start to put up corners
you gotta wonder where the hell the door is
I never wanted to build up that fortress, gorgeous
walked this long list of achievements
despite how ripped off I feel believe me I mean it
when I say I understand your reasons for leaving
I knew many of your dreams, I know that you'll keep 'em
so go ahead with yourself, and good evenin'

(she was my baby) damn right she was
(but she put me down) oh well now I'm movin' up and I'm movin' out
x2
(love aint simple, you gotta be that way)
